Carlo Bustillos focuses his practice on commercial, class action, and intellectual property litigation, with a particular emphasis on disputes involving sensitive reputational and branding issues.

Carlo has successfully defended several nationwide class actions concerning advertising, labeling, pricing, and fee-disclosure practices, including drafting a brief that secured dismissal at the pleading stage in a first-of-its-kind case alleging corporate "greenwashing" of a sustainable clothing line. Carlo also frequently advises clients in connection with recently enacted fee disclosure laws and pricing practices across several jurisdictions in the United States.

Carlo has trial experience and was a member of a team that successfully obtained a US$14.5 million verdict in a vigorously contested two-week trademark infringement and unfair competition jury trial in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
