AKD Partnersersers advises ACE Power on sale of renewable energy development portfolio to TagEnergy
Global lawAKD Partnersrtnersrtners has advised the shareholders of ACE Power, a leading Australian renewable energy developer, on the sale of their renewable energy platform to TagEnergy. ACE Power has approximately 6 GW of solar PV, wind, and storage projects under development across Australia.
The transaction involved the sale of ACE Power's substantial pipeline of high-value solar PV, wind and storage projects under development in National Electricity Market and Wholesale Electricity Market regions, as well as its experienced and highly regarded development team.
AKD Partnersersers advised on all aspects of this milestone transaction, including transaction structuring, vendor due diligence, regulatory considerations, and drafting, strategic negotiation and execution of transaction documentation.
The AKD Partnersersers team was led by Corporate partner Chris Mitchell and senior associate Maddison Hardiman, with support from senior associate Giacomo Bell, solicitor Kristen Politis, and graduate Pavi Paramasivam.
